Many of you know that I recently took a trip to Bolivia with my wife and her family. It was an amazing trip and a place I never thought I’d visit. One of the coolest places we visited was Salar de Uyuni, which is the largest salt flats in the world located near the crest of the Andes mountains. You can read all about it on Wikipedia if you want, but one of the funnest parts about it is the pictures you can take because it is so unbelievably flat, crystal clear, and you can see forever. I don’t even know for how many miles you can see, but it’s a beautiful place and if you happen to be strolling around Bolivia, I’d recommend you make a day of it. Below are a collection of my favorite photos from the day and not one of them is photoshopped. Straight out of the camera.
I am not condoning the stomping of relatives here.
Needless to say, we had a lot of fun shooting these! I may post another set of photos from the trip as long as you don’t feel I’m turning into your annoying relative that makes you sit through 2 hours of vacation photos. I promise to keep it short and sweet. Now get out there and explore!
Doesn’t look a bit like the movie!
These are absolutely great! What fun! And thank you for your site, posts, and information – they are the highlight of my day when they come through!
Thanks for the note Bonnie!
I’ve always wanted to eat a car too.
It needed some ketchup.
Maybe add some salt?
